Israel-Hamas War: Harris

Harris’ views are in line with the Biden administration’s policies to the war in Gaza, which are to help bring a ceasefire deal and the return of the hostages and push for de-escalation.

In her policy plan she says she will “always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself.”

She also said as Vice President she is working to end the war, and ensure “Israel is secure, the hostages are released” and “the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom, and self-determination”

Israel-Hamas War: Trump

Trump has called for a “fast” end to the war in Gaza, saying Israel has to “get it over with.”

He has not elaborated on what Israel should do to “end the war,” nor has he suggested any support for Palestinians.

However, during his time in office he had supported pro Israel policies, such as backing Israel’s annexation of the Golan heights and recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
